The approach I like to use in my counseling practice is called Integrative Psychotherapy. This methodology is important to me because it addresses all aspects of a person - developmentally, emotionally, cognitively, behaviorally and systemically.
The mechanics involves combining theories of emotion, cognition, behavior and systems, while maintaining a developmental perspective. Through this structure I develop a personalized system of counseling that will enhance the growth and self-development of my clients. I apply this system to work with adults, children, adolescents, couples, families and groups.
I utilize many theories of human functioning including: Psychodynamic, Gestalt Therapy, Reichian Therapy, Object Relations Theories, Psychoanalytic Self-Psychology, Transactional Analysis and Integrative Psychotherapy.
